At It Takes a Village EduCare Center we believe that children define the programs we offer and that they learn best through play, learning and structure. We utilize our curriculum as a “blueprint” for planning and implementing a program that addresses all aspects of child development and is an organized framework that outlines the content children are to learn.

Care & Connect Our program for infants, Care & Connect, emphasizes individualized care through nurturing teachers who are responsive to the needs of each growing child. They provide for each stage in your infant’s development encouraging physical activities that support large and small muscle development and encourage curiosity in a multi sensory environment. Little Steps Our program for toddlers (12-24), Little Steps, recognizes this stage of your child’s growth as of curiosity and exploration. We concentrate on the developmental goals of this age as well as emphasize safety and security with loving and caring teachers. Our environment is specially designed so children can explore and play together as they begin their understanding of socially appropriate behavior. Our program for 2 year-olds, The Explorers, offers children a secure, loving environment with an established routine and schedule. Weekly themes are introduced which incorporate the developmental goals of The Explorers program. This begins the process of a structured day where planned educational activities and creative play time offer a balance in your 2 year-old development. Our program for three year olds, The Skill Builders, builds on the fundamentals of the two year old program. We continue to offer children a secure, loving environment. A planned activity schedule incorporates weekly and monthly theses and is a building block for the process of a structured day. Our program for 4 year olds, The Discoverers, encompasses a wide variety of planned activities centered around the developmental goals of the program. These educational activities offer your child experiences in language, math, science, music and art. Our program focuses on the established developmental level of the children as individuals and is designed to meet each one where they are and lead them forward. It Takes a Village EduCare Center offers a safe and enriching before-school and after-school program for your school age child. We understand how difficult it is to find a program that balances activities fostering positive social interaction among children and providing academic reinforcement of what your child learns at school. Our skilled teachers will assist your child in completing homework activities, while promoting group interaction and independent learning.

Summer Programs
Academic and Enrichment Summer Camp
Reading & mathematics skills... Learn about different countries... And go on fun & exciting trips? If your answer is yes, then this Summer Camp is for YOU. During our Summer camp, each day will begin with individualized academics focusing on language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science. Campers will enjoy daily activities that include: arts and crafts, technology, daily journals, fitness, career exploration, to spelling and math bees while being in a small classroom size. Campers will tour college campuses and participate in a career day allowing speakers to talk about their exciting jobs. Our summer camp program is academic, interactive, fun, and develops children to their greatest potential.
